New homes offer Christmas cheer 

Local MP, Andrew George, welcomed the provision of 79 new genuinely affordable homes for local families at Gulval, following his recent visit to the site as work nears completion. 

LiveWest (Housing Association) has been planning the site, with the support of Andrew George, who backed the development as the then local Cornwall Council ward member. 

Andrew was shown around the site by LiveWest Business Manager, Simon Jones and Classic Builders (the contractors) Site Manager, Mark Talling. They were joined by Cllr Juliet Line, who now represents Andrew’s former Council ward. 

Andrew said, “At a time when housing pressures and problems for local people are as intense as they have ever been, it is wonderful to welcome the cheer of so many new homes which will relieve the pressure for 79 local families. Of course there is much more to do, but this is a light on the horizon which will be a celebration for many this Christmas.”
