Andrew George MP welcomes ‘retirement’ of Susan Davy as CEO of Pennon Group 

Speaking in response to today’s news that Susan Davy has ‘retired’ as CEO of Pennon Group, following yesterday’s letter from Cornwall & Devon Liberal Democrat MPs, Andrew George MP said: 

“I welcome Susan Davy’s announcement. She’s finally made the right move. Her position had become untenable, especially following the OFWAT report yesterday, and for all of the reasons set out in our letter to her following that report.

“In order to establish public confidence however, the whole board needs to consider its position. The report was equally critical of the board and we really need to see substantial changes there in order to establish a credible baseline and start building public trust in this public service.”
