Today is the grim anniversary – 3 years of Ukrainian courage in resisting a brutal, illegal and unprovoked invasion.
After the Foreign Secretary’s statement to the House this evening I urged our Prime Minister and he to emphasise to President Trump that our “special relationship” with the US can only be based on respect for truth and international law.
Good to see the whole of the chamber – all parties – come together in solidarity with Ukraine.
…except of course those self-styled patriots from the far-right Reform Party who were conspicuous by their absence (presumably taking instructions from their mentors in The White House and The Kremlin).
