Closed post offices

I see local Conservatives are celebrating that a van will replace some of the many closed post offices for a few hours a week …for the time being!

Witnessing Conservatives rushing to communities after Post Offices have closed to sympathise with locals is like seeing vandals returning to the scene of their crime to support a bodged sticking-plaster solution. It’s not a coincidence that Post Offices have closed in unprecedented numbers since the Conservatives were able to govern on their own from 2015. Newlyn, Porthleven, Leedstown, Carbis Bay, Gulval, Heamoor, etc closed. Many others on the edge. The truth is they slashed the support for them.
