Andrew George MP statement on Cornwall devolution meeting at No 10 North 

Following today’s meeting of Cornwall’s MPs and Council leaders with Minister Sally Jameson MP and senior officials at Number 10 North, in Manchester, on the topic of devolution for Cornwall, Andrew George MP has made a statement on his Facebook page: 

“Important progress in Cornwall’s devolution plans today. All 6 Cornish MPs and Council Leader joined Devo Minister Sally Jameson and senior No. 10 North officials to run through the details of our case and to ask questions.  

“We expect an announcement to be made soon. But we’re now well on the road to unique single Foundation Strategic Authority status. Still lots of work to do.”
