Welcome Cameron back …to honour pledge on Cornwall’s Stadium

Local Liberal Democrat candidate and campaigner, Andrew George, said David Cameron should be welcomed back into front line politics if that’s what he wants. But his first job should be to honour his promise to Cornwall regarding funding for the Stadium.

In the lead-up to the 2015 General Election when he was wanting local votes he promised: “If it takes some extra money I’d make that money available.” (23rd April 2015 – https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/election-2015-32436454)

But the Government hasn’t. Still refusing to fund the stadium at the Budget last week, after local Conservative MPs promised their campaign was going so well.
