Sir Graham Watson: Our strong voice in Europe – 20 years of achievement

In advance of Thursday’s European Parliamentary Election, West Cornwall MP, Andrew George, has praised the region’s MEP, Sir Graham Watson, for 20 years of achievement.

Sir Graham Watson, an MEP since 1994, will seek re-election for a fifth term as one of the region’s six Members of the European Parliament.

Mr George said, “Graham has been a strong voice and highly respected internationally.

“Graham Watson has been a central figure within the Liberal Democrats to ensure that the benefits of the European Union are transferred accordingly to the region.

“He is the political standard bearer for Cornwall and the South West in Brussels, and I hope that our voters remember his 20 year record of achievement when they go to the ballot box on Thursday.”
