Road infrastructure: Find a long term solution to the Rose-an-Grouse to Long Rock section

West Cornwall MP, Andrew George, has commented on the Government announcement that the A30 between Carland Cross and Chiverton Cross is to be turned into a dual carriageway within the next six years.

Mr George said, “A rapidly growing population, greater dependence on the private car has been putting intense pressure on our road infrastructure. The Carland-Chiverton ‘bottle-neck’ has been a priority since the Victoria stretch was completed. The next priority has to be to find a long term solution to the Rose-an-grouse to Long Rock section.”
