Question Time event in Penzance

Local MP, Andrew George, will join a group of panellists taking part in a Question Time event in Penzance tomorrow evening.

The event, which has been organised by the Ritz Community Centre Trust, will take place at the Ritz in Queen Street at 7.30pm on Thursday 20th September 2012.

The discussion will be chaired by Mike Sagar-Fenton, Chair of the Ritz Community Centre Trust. The panellists will be Les Hall (Vice Principal of Mounts Bay Academy), Rev. Julyan Drew, David Nebesnuick (Town Councillor), The Cornishman’s Editor, Jacqui Walls and Mr George.

The Ritz Community Centre Trust is a charity which is working towards saving the former cinema/bingo hall which closed in 2008. Since 2009, a group of volunteers have been renovating and adapting the building with the aim of saving and preserving it for the people of Penwith as a community asset.

Admission to the event is free.
