PMQs: George questions Prime Minister on rail investment

Posted on: 2nd July 2014

At today’s Prime Minister’s Questions, West Cornwall MP, Andrew George, asked the Prime Minister about investment in rail services from Penzance.

Mr George asked the Prime Minister, “Is the Prime Minister aware – because I have raised this issue with him before:-

– “Of my long standing campaign for rail investment in rail services from Penzance.

– “Liberal Democrat and Independent Cornwall Councillors proposal for a rail upgrade and a Train Care Centre at Long Rock and my recent 3,000 name petition I delivered to this house in support    of that campaign.

Will the Prime Minister visit my constituency soon, preferably with his cheque book and a favourable announcement?”
