Pasty Tax? We’ll fight ’em on the beaches! MPs vow

Cornish Liberal Democrat Parliamentarians have vowed to fight Government plans to impose a “pasty tax”, as suggested in yesterday’s Budget.

Speaking today in the Commons, West Cornwall MP, Andrew George vowed that, “We’ll fight them on the beaches!” and Mid Cornwall MP Stephen Gilbert will later argue for an exemption for the Cornish pasty.
