MP urges constituents to make views known on new sewage proposals
The MP for the West Cornwall and Isles of Scilly constituency of St Ives, Andrew George, is urging constituents to take part in a consultation on a new and simpler approach to regulating small domestic sewage discharges.
The consultation seeks views on Government proposals to remove administrative burdens for households not connected to the mains and it closes on 10th June 2014.
Mr George said: “Many properties in an area like this use septic tanks or small sewage treatment plants for domestic waste water. It’s important that people who could be affected submit their views on these new proposals”
