Meeting with Mainstream Renewable Power

On Wednesday 13th July, Mr. Andrew George MP, will attend a meeting with Mainstream Renewable Power concerning the issue of electricity market reform.

Mainstream Renewable Power is a global developer of solar and wind plant. They are currently developing over 6000MW of offshore wind power in the UK and plan to provide roughly 4% of the UK’s current electricity consumption once their current development plan is completed. They have expressed concern over the recent consultation by the UK government on EMR.

Andrew George MP is the lead on the Liberal Democrat Environment Team.
