EDM | Made By Britain Initiative

Andrew George MP has signed EDM 2069. The motion reads:

“That this House welcomes the Made By Britain initiative, which challenges every hon. Member to identify an example of manufacturing and design excellence in their constituency; further recognises that in 2011 the 160th anniversary of the Great Exhibition of 1851, it is a unique opportunity to create a virtual Crystal Palace in which the 650 objects will be exhibited; and considers this a reminder that Britain remains a leading manufacturing nation where design and innovation flourish.”
