Launch Of Victim’s Rights Group
This evening, Andrew George MP will join the inaugural meeting of the All Party Parliamentary Group on Victims and Witnesses of Crime. The new group will offer Parliamentarians the opportunity to promote the interests of victims and witnesses in the criminal justice system, from policing strategies to law reform.
Recently Mr George led a Commons debate to advance the case for better support for the victims of crime and their families, following the case of constituent Joanne Bryce and her family, whose sister Clair Oldfield-Hampson was murdered in 1996.
