Important debate on the Climate Emergency

Liberal Democrat MP Layla Moran and Green MP Caroline Lucas secured important debate on the Climate Emergency last week. No Conservative MP from Cornwall turned up!

Young people have done a fantastic job to highlight that climate change is the biggest challenge which politicians must tackle urgently – far more important than the “B” word which MPs are obsessed with. I just hope local MPs explain why they didn’t think this was important enough for them when they visit local schools and speak to students. Oh and explain why they’ve voted consistently against measures to combat climate change.
