Health Select Committee Meeting

On Tuesday 28st June, Andrew George MP, attended the public Health Select Committee.

The committee discussed regulatory bodies, and heard evidence from Dame Jo Williams DBE, Chair of the Care Quality Commission (CQC), and Amanda Sherlock, Director of Operations Delivery at the Care Quality Commission.

Andrew George MP is a member of the Health Select Committee, and raised concerns about the CQC’s “risk” band approach to monitoring care quality.
