Health Select Committee Meeting

On the morning of Tuesday 5th July, Andrew George MP attended the Health Select Committee.

The committee held an evidence session with Rt Hon Andrew Lansley CBE MP, Secretary of State for Health, The Chief Executive of the NHS, Sir David Nicholson KCB CBE, and Richard Douglas CB, the Director General of Policy, Strategy and Finance at the Department of Health on the Government’s “listening exercise” in its health reform.

Andrew George MP has raised concerns about the government’s response to the NHS Future Forum report and, cautioned fellow MPs against assuming that previous concerns had been resolved.
