Health Select Committee Meeting

On the morning of Tuesday 12th July, Andrew George MP,  attended the Health Select Committee.

The committee held its fourth oral evidence session on public health, where MPs had the chance to question officials and experts about public health policy reforms. Giving evidence at the session were the Chief Medical Officer, Professor Dame Sally C Davies, and Professor David R Harper CBE, the Director General for Health Improvement and Protection at the Department of Health, amongst others.

Andrew George MP has raised concerns about the Government’s response to the NHS Future Forum report and cautioned fellow MPs against assuming that previous concerns had been resolved.
