George visits NCI at St Ives

Andrew George MP meets staff at St Ives branch of NCI

 

St Ives MP, Andrew George, visited the NCI (National Coastwatch Institution) at St Ives, and met Station Manager Helen Simpson this morning.

Mr George said, “It’s always a pleasure to visit our local NCI lookouts. The volunteers perform a vital service, making an important contribution to sea safety and public safety around our coast and coastal waters.

“I was delighted to meet the new station Manager, Helen Simpson, who took over duties from Tim Lait in January.”

Mr George is a patron of the National Coastwatch Institution (NCI) and supported the creation of the institution in 1994.
