George to speak at NHS rally

Liberal Democrat member of the Health Select Committee, Andrew George MP, will speak at a rally in support of the NHS at Westminster Central Hall this evening.

The organisers of the rally – health unions and the TUC – invited Mr George to explain his position. Mr George has been a vocal opponent of the Government’s Health and Social Care Bill.

The rally takes place in the Grand Hall of Westminster Central Hall between 6pm and 7.30pm.

Mr George will join them at 7pm for a short speech.
