George: Growth Deal builds on earlier work and campaigning

West Cornwall MP, Andrew George, has welcomed today’s signing of the £198.9million Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Growth Deal.

Mr George said, “This builds on much earlier work and campaigning. As well as these infrastructure projects, the developing strategy must harness the great opportunities for jobs and business growth in space science, renewable energy, the creative industries and food production and processing.”
