George congratulates Trusts on new perinatal initiative
West Cornwall MP, Andrew George, has congratulated the Cornwall Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and the Angela Harrison Charitable Trust on the launch of Cornwall’s first mental health service for pregnant women.
Mr George, who has campaigned for not only a specialist team but also for an inpatient perinatal mental health mother and baby unit, said:
“This is a very important step forward in perinatal mental health care and is much needed. I strongly congratulate Anthony Harrison for his hard work and dedication in seeing this through. This service will be life saving.”
