“Financial Incentives” And The NHS
This afternoon, Andrew George MP will be joining a debate entitled ‘Does the NHS need financial incentives to deliver the best outcomes for patients?’
The debate will be an opportunity for parliamentarians and policy-makers to discuss the issue of financial incentives. It will feature a number of guest speakers arguing from both sides, including Professor Paul Corrigan – a former health advisor to Tony Blair, Andy McKeon – Adjunct Professor at the Centre for Health Policy at Imperial College London, and Andrew Haldenby – director of the pressure group Reform.
Mr George is a member of the Health Select Committee, and has led a vocal rebellion against the Government’s Health and Social Care bill.
