A thousand people have already signed Andrew George MP’s road fuel rebate petition which he placed online at the weekend.

Mr George said: “We’re getting a phenomenal response. With strong public support and good evidence, I’m sure that we can persuade Treasury Ministers and secure a road fuel rebate for Cornwall – just as we successfully did for the Scillies.

“Paper copies of the petition will be hitting the high street and fuel stations soon”, he added.
