Congratulations to our schools, colleges and young people

They’ve shown the rest of us what needs to happen to stop climate change before it becomes even more catastrophic. Their enthusiasm and energy is just what we old stagers need to breathe new life into what has been for me a lifetime of campaigning. I joined them too. They were all amazing. Inspiring.

I will visit a number of local schools to discuss the practicalities of implementing policy to create a better future. Some had wanted me to attend at the same time as the local MP, but he refused to turn up if I was there too! Which is a pity, as there is nothing more educational than to have different political perspectives testing each other in a calmer environment away from the playground of the Westminster village.
