Building the required business infrastructure in Cornwall

West Cornwall MP, Andrew George, has welcomed the Federation of Small Businesses ‘Resetting the agenda for infrastructure – Cornwall 2014/2015″ Report which highlights the infrastructure issues facing the business community in Cornwall.

The Report also calls for “an examination into how investment is distributed and an assurance that Cornwall will get a larger slice of it to maximise the opportunities” for businesses and the economy in Cornwall.

Mr George said, “This is helpful and timely. Cornwall has a strong case to make for more devolved economic development powers. This Report enhances that case. There’s also keen enthusiasm to build the business infrastructure – including to improve IT communications and mobile connectivity.”
