Brexit export hurdles and complexity – NOT unexpected

Posted on: 8th January 2021

The media is now reporting post-Brexit export hurdles and complexity as if this had not been forewarned.

If they’d attended any of my public meetings which offered technical advice and guidance on the necessary preparations for Brexit they would have been aware of the challenges faced, especially for those exporting perishable or live goods like our vitally important fish and shellfish exporters.

Trade Lawyer Sarah Adkins, who comes from Newlyn, had outlined the complexities at my webinar on 10th December last year and presented a chart she had circulated widely and which illustrated the challenges for exporters.

But that wasn’t the first time. Her warnings and chart were first shown at my public meeting in St John’s Hall, Penzance nearly 2 years ago – 15th February 2019. https://www.andrewgeorge.org.uk/george-puts-call-out-a-representative-on-behalf-of-brexit-supporters-please/
