Andrew George MP to visit Isles of Scilly

Local MP, Andrew George, will again meet with constituents on the Isles of Scilly during a two day visit to the islands next week.

As well as holding a series of private meetings with local businesses, individuals and authorities and to address private requests from constituents, he will hold a casework surgery on St Mary’s on Tuesday 4th October 2011 at the Manse between 2.30pm and 3.30pm.

Also, on Wednesday 5th October, Mr George will hold a surgery at the Reading Room on St Martin’s (from 10.15am), in the Community Centre on Tresco (from 12.15pm) and at the Community Centre on Bryher (from 2.45pm). He will also be available to meet residents on St Agnes.

Mr George will also be holding a public meeting in the Council Chamber on St Mary’s on Tuesday 4th October 2011 at 7.30pm.

Mr George is keen to hear the concerns and views of local people on national, international and Island issues and to gauge their opinion on progress being made by the Coalition Government.

 

The public meeting is the fifth in a series he has held so far across the constituency this year to give constituents the opportunity to discuss current affairs and how a Coalition Government works.
